A long-running production web app for a Volvo Cars dealer. I joined the agency team to work on the React frontend.

The problem

The dealer needed shoppers to find a model, see current offers and book a test drive from any device.

What I built

A React and Redux progressive web app with Material UI, Algolia InstantSearch for the catalogue, and lead forms for test drives and offers. Errors are tracked in Sentry, and the app is hosted on AWS Amplify across three environments.

Results

  • Contributed 39 commits to a codebase with more than five years of history.
