Branded QR code generator
Python script that produces logo-centred, gradient QR codes and checks that each one still scans
Churches and ministries wanted QR codes for maps and forms that carry their logo. The script generates a crisp SVG and a styled PNG, then decodes the result to prove it still works.
The problem
Putting a logo in the middle of a QR code can make it unreadable, and nobody finds out until someone tries to scan a printed flyer.
What I built
Codes use the highest error-correction level so the logo can cover part of the pattern. Modules are drawn rounded with a radial gradient, and every output is decoded with zxing-cpp before it is saved.
Results
- QR codes delivered for a church map, Gospel Work forms and Omo Beeza materials.
Features
- SVG and styled PNG output
- Centred logo with high error correction
- Rounded modules and gradient fill
- Automatic scan verification
- Simple HTML page for quick use
